3: Brainstorming and drafts:

idea: Because the theme I chose is the fifth direction of the United Nations, gender equality, so I referred to some posters about women's equality. After some brainstorming, I chose the following elements as my poster design. First of all, I chose a Libra, because I think it best represents justice and equality. Wait,I also chose the compass, because the compass represents making rules. Secondly, I chose some male and female symbols to convey my design theme.

5: Design Explanation

This public welfare poster is designed to accurately convey the vital importance of gender equality, using ingenious visual elements and concise language. Choosing a large font at the top to highlight "gender equality" ensures cross-cultural understanding and meets the needs of multiple audiences. The center focuses on balanced balance, which symbolizes equality, and clearly shows gender roles and social norms by comparing traditional male and female icons. In line with the fifth theme of the United Nations on gender equality

The addition of the text of "female status from ancient times to the present" at the bottom of the balance adds historical depth and guides the audience to reflect on the long-term struggle for gender equality. The challenging question "Have you ever faced it?" It triggers introspection and deepens the connection with the problem. The philosophy at the bottom of the poster calls for "equality in soul and dignity" beyond the simple legal framework and emphasizes the value and dignity of each individual.

Design principles

Symmetry: left and right symmetry of the balance

Contrast: by color contrast to blue and pink

Emphasis: emphasize the visual center

Balanced:Balance of scales and compass

Repetition: The background is expressed by repeated three-dimensional squares.

Unification: the overall tone is harmonious and unified

By cleverly combining these design elements, the poster not only has a strong visual appeal, but also attracts the audience emotionally and intellectually, prompting them to think about gender equality and take action. In addition, the addition of personal color enhances the authenticity and personality of the poster and increases the emotional connection with the audience.
